New for 2017
We will be offering A Levels as we look to support high-acheiving students with their university and career aspirations. 17 new A Levels will be supported by our team from Newcastle-under-Lyme College, who have consistently achieved high success rates for a number of years.
We are excited to also be launching our combined pathways to ambitious students who know what they want to acheive in life. Our 7 pathways combine the academic challege of A Levels with the practical skills of vocational courses and are developed with employers who are creating roles throughout the region - giving you insight into university styles of learning whilst also keeping your career options open.
What to expect
At one of our Open Events, you will get all of the information you need to help find the right course for you! To get the most out of your visit, these are the three things that we recommend you should do:
1. Welcome Talk
Don't miss the informative 'College Overview'. The talk will give you information about the College, it's facilities and things to consider when choosing a study programme at Stafford College.
2. College Tours
Make sure you make the time to take a tour led by our student Xtras. You'll see our facilities and get a feel for the learning and social environments at Stafford College.
3. Course Advice
Our experienced staff are on hand throughout the event to provide advice and guidance on all of our courses. We also have a full range of interactive demonstrations available for you to take part in.
For adult learners...
We have a number of part-time and university-level courses for adult learners, starting in September. We also run a popular Access to Higher Education (HE) course to prepare adults without traditional qualifications for study at university. There are a number of pathways for the Access to HE including combined health, social science & humanities and medicine and health care professions. If you don't have the relevant qualifications to study the Access to HE course then you can enrol onto the Level 2 Access - Skills for Further Study.
Our events are busy, but you can pre-register for the Open Event to skip the queues on the day by completing the form below.
