Course Description The First Certificate in Food Safety is designed for all food handlers to improve their awareness of the principles of food safety and the risks associated with handling food. This is a first level qualification.

The course covers:
1. Principles of Food Safety
2. Hazards in Food Safety
3. Hygiene and Control

Assessment: The assessment is the completion of 30 multi-choice questions in 45 minutes. Candidates must get over 20 correct answers to be eligible for certification.
