| Course Description | The qualification consists of 4 mandatory units and has a credit value of 12: - Unit TDA2.1 Child and young person development - Unit TDA2.2 Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people - Unit TDA2.3 Communication and professional relationships with children, young people and adults - Unit TDA2.4 Equality, diversity and inclusion in work with children and young people and 1 further unit: - Unit 2.5/3.2 Schools as organisations Candidates must successfully complete all five units to be awarded C & G Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools. Letters of Unit Credit may be requested for those candidates not achieving the full award but who achieve at least one whole unit. Assessment Assessment will consist of: • Competence of knowledge through internally assessed assignments |
