| Course Description | This course deals with both the theory and practice related to electrical installation of systems and equipment. Course Content The course covers the following topics: • Structure of the industry • Contract administration • Site administration • Installation drawings • Electrical science • Electronics and health and safety • Supply, distribution and earthing • Selection of wiring systems • Installation of a.c. motors • Installation of lighting • Inspection and testing Assessment Assessments are completed throughout the course and take the form of a multiple choice examination on basic installation practices and theory, together with two written exams and two practical assessments. |
