Library and Information Services
All students have access to superb and extensive library and information services. These are found in a number of study centres that are subject based for ease of use. The study centres and libraries house the traditional collections of books and magazines and go beyond that to also offer access to open access PC's and e-resources.
Library and Information Services are an invaluable aid to students. You will be offered an induction to ensure that you are aware of the resources and facilities provided and information skills sessions on how to make best use of the wealth of resources available.
Resources and facilities include:
Materials for loan and up to date reference materials, including a wide range of journals and newspapers. Help and advice in finding and using the resources, including internal and external access to the computerised library catalogue.
Access to computers, computer packages, e-resources and the Internet. Support in using the computer facilities.
Inter-library loans and reservations service.
Photocopying, scanning, laminating and comb-binding facilities.
