| Course Progression | The BTEC First Diploma is equivalent to four GCSE’s grade A* - C and is a nationally recognised qualification which will enable you to enter employment in one of a variety of types of animal care environments. Opportunities can include kennels/cattery assistant, pet store assistant and pet grooming. Alternatively you could progress onto one of the BTEC National Diploma courses in Applied Science or an Animal Management course. Students would need to achieve an overall distinction for progression onto the BTEC National Diploma in Applied Science. |
