The Corporation is responsible for the educational direction taken by the College ensuring that it remains in ??? health, and meets all statutory obligations. The Corporation is made up of governors drawing together a broad base of experience gained in education, industry and society. It operates five separate committees, each of which focuses on one responsibility of the Corporation.
The five committees are:
Curriculum Standards and Performance
Advises on the College's academic performance against locally and nationally set targets and the scope and quality of education provided by the College.
Audit
Advises the Corporation on all the College's internal control systems, including risk management and ensuring value for money.
Search and Governance
Advises on the appointment of members to the Corporation and ensures that all members receive the necessary training to enable them to carry out their duties.
Resources
Advises on the effective use of all aspects of the College's resources, whether human, physical, information or financial.
Remuneration
Advises on the salary and other terms and conditions of employment for the College's senior postholders, including the Clerk to the Corporation.
