Broad Eye – a dedicated arts centre
Stafford College has opened a dedicated zone for degree-level courses within Broad Eye, its acclaimed centre for art and design subjects.
The development has cemented a particular reputation in the field of creative arts enjoyed by the College. Broad Eye opened in 2005 at a cost of £5 million and has succeeded in providing a self-contained and vibrantly-distinctive environment for arts students within the town centre campus.
Degree-level courses underway at Broad Eye include qualifications in Fine Art, Illustration, Graphic Design, Fashion and Textiles, 3D Design, Sculpture, Creative Arts for Employment and Graphics & Digital Design, Photography, Interactive Media and Digital Media.
Broad Eye also has a dedicated arts supply shop which is open to students offering a wide range of materials at great prices.
You can call the Broad Eye shop on 01785 275581 or pop in to the Broad Eye foyer.
Jim Baker, Head of the Faculty of Arts said: “We are delighted to be able to develop our scope of activity at HE level with a dedicated area for degree studies in Broad Eye. Students will have access to excellent facilities as well as the stimulating presence of practising artists among their lecturers.”
